Ellen Yee

Ellen Yee is a Professor of Law and the Director of International Programs at Drake University Law School. She teaches in the areas of Criminal Law, Professional Responsibility, Psychiatry & the Law, and Trial Advocacy. She is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Minnesota Law School. Before Drake, Professor Yee was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Florida State University College of Law and a Deputy District Attorney in Marin County, California. Her research addresses issues at the intersection of evidence and criminal procedure. In 2014, Professor Yee founded Next Course: Food Recovery Network at Drake, a student program at Drake University. Students learn about food insecurity, waste, and recovery by creatively working to develop a food recovery system and to educate the campus and local community about important food justice issues.
