STAR4D Training

Training military painters is of the utmost importance to ensure corrosion prevention, proper application, and efficient production. The STAR4D program began in 2003 as a means to provide effective painter training to the U.S. Armed Forces. The program has grown throughout the years  but the core mission has always remained to provide hands-on customized training.

Hundreds of painters have been trained from all over the United States including the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, District of Columbia, and as far away as Japan. Aside from providing training at the Cedar Falls facility, STAR4D has also been involved in a variety of research efforts and established satellite sites to allow facilities to provide STAR4D certifications at their own facility.
